H.L. Even though their theme is traveling in the stars and not with the Vikings, NYKTOPHOBIA often reminds me of a blackened version of Amon Amarth. They know just as well how to create powerful, driving songs with pounding drums on a melodic basis - just listen to "Charon Gate". The sound is really powerful and therefore appropriate for the sublime songs. The black impression is mainly brought into the sound by the screaming voice. The final with "Voyager 1" is also beautifully epic. Favorite track: Charon Gate.

sashavonkarl74 Very similar to "Fate of Atlantis" to be honest, but since I loved it, this one too is highly recommended for Nyktophobia fans and melodic DM fans alike. Maybe a bit slower on some tracks, but still outstanding work! Favorite track: Progenitor.

Recorded at Sandlane Recording Facilities and mixed and mastered by Fascination Street Studios a massive and authentic sound is guaranteed! To celebrate the release, the band will be playing at Summer Breeze Open Air and Rockharz Festival, among others!

Established in 2015, "To The Stars" marks the band's fourth full-length studio album and is poised to delight genre purists following the success of their previous album, "What Lasts Forever". The German band remains true to the essence of Scandinavian-influenced melodic death metal in their approach, while intricately weaving additional layers and subtleties, crafting songs with a deeper atmosphere and captivating moments that linger long in one's memory.
